"Its one of my all time treasured possessions. Every time I look at it I feel good."

Bill Parsons
Former President of Palmer Johnson Yachts

And the Heritage is fun in the rough! Now we're
talking about 25-28 mph winds, 1-2' chop in the shallow water of St.
Joseph's Sound. In any other boat I'd be so focussed on just staying upright I wouldn't pull very hard, nor would I enjoy it. But today was great...wind on the nose going out, pulling with short strokes, not expecting much run, but able to power it up without worrying about a flip. Coming back, with the wind on the tail, looooong strokes, great directional stability, no sense of impending broaching.

"I wanted to let you guys know that I am delighted with my Cambridge rowing shell. While I am by no means an expert, I rowed for a number of years in an Alden Ocean shell and currently own and enjoy your Heritage 15. The Cambridge seems the perfect balance of comfort and performance in the choppy waters of the St. Lucie River."

Jay Coyle
Editor at Large, Yachting Magazine

"wanted a boat that used as a double and as a single, truly was pleasantly surprised at the ease of row and the carry.. this boat is not a compromise."

John Spencer
Co-founder of Blackburn Challenge Race

"I am 81 years old and rowed 65 miles and 24 hours. I could of never made it with any other boat. Companys have called me to try their boats, and I did - however nothing came near the Heritage. It was smooth and cuts the water well even in 20 hours of rain."

John Leech
Co-owner of the River Oaks Racquet and Fitness Club in Rocky River, OH

"The Heritage is a dream! Better than I had hoped, and the rowing motion is particularly pleasing. The location of the seat and the oars off the water is perfect, it seems to me. Interestingly, it does not feel one bit clunky, compared to my Alden Ocean Shell."

Author of "Younger Next Year", Owner of a Heritage 15 Double

"My Cambridge has earned a major spot in my daily agenda. It is beautiful to look at, and gives me great exercise every step of the way. I frequently rise early at 5:45  every second or third day. It is a 2 hour adventure from start to finish, and I thoroughly enjoy every minute. Thank you!"

Steven Alan Fry, CEO
TREKKER Adventure Class Yachts

2007 Everglades Challenge: "The Heritage 15 finished second in her class (Class 4),  and 5th overall.  Would have been better but I chose beforehand to row 40 of the 67 miles, and the stong winds made sailing faster.  It should be noted that 5 boats were unable
to finish. The Heritage was definitely one of the more seaworthy boats, even
without a spray cover."

Ward Wilcox

"I'm buying my fifth boat from you . You guys always been good to me, very fair and very honest. Nothing I could say could have been done better.

What can I say? Thank you"

"We just returned from a 4 month cruise around Florida in our home a 36' Krogen Manatee. . . . I just put my new 12' Heritage . . . on the upper deck and used that with no motor. Well, anyone who was boating in Florida between Dec. and May knows that the wind just didn't lay down. I rowed this boat everyday in all kinds of conditions and it was great! . . . Even with a dog, a wife and 2 sets of golf clubs tucked into this little puppy, it still rowed well. . . . This is the first cruise I ever lost weight on. . . . Point of interest, on a calm day my GPS recorded my speed as 4.1 to 6.2 mph.

"I find [the Heritage] everything I had hoped for. Rows very much like Maas, somewhat harder pull, but that is expected and in my case desirable. I feel very secure, which you may recall was my problem after a slight stroke 2 years ago. It behaves like a scull thus, it is no rowboat."

Jerry Kinney - Washington DC

"of the four boats I own, my Heritage rower gets used more than the other three combined"

"it is so easy, absolutely stable rowing upwind, in the chop no problem... 15 - 18 knots"

"Just a quick note on how well my Heritage 18 performed during the 50 mile Suwannee River Challenge. The Heritage 18 was the perfect boat to use.."

"Rowed in some pretty good 3 foot flight waves! The Sprint is definitely what we wanted."

Dan Bashaw - Alaska

Ten weeks ago, I learned how, and began, to row my Heritage.  I started monitoring and managing my consumption, started growing closer than ever with my lovely wife, shed 16 pounds, and have both new and renewed personal and business passion in my life.
Thank you.  I am having fun and looking forward to the rest of this journey.

I love the boat.  It may be the most satisfying purchase I have made.

Pastor John, Washington

"I bought my Pro Am Elite sight unseen, based on the quality of my 20 year old Rivershell. When it arrived, I looked it over end to end. It is Flawless. I can't believe how beautiful it is. I can't wait to put it in the water."

Dennis Kiernan - New Jersey

"Our Cambridge goes along through the water nicely. It doesn't feel like a beamy boat, yet it's very stable. The wing rigging system is excellent, with no flex at all. This boat loves the choppy water. I'm happy to show people my Cambridge in this area!"

W. Wilner - Florida

"I love my Heritage 18 that I bought from you, quite impulsively, at the New York Boat Show. I rowed an Alden Ocean shell for a long time, but wanted more of a "boat". We have a channel with a hairy current and she goes against it confidently. We also have too many people who run in that channel too fast and throw a big wake! Not once was I worried in the Heritage."

B. & V. McCarroll - New York

"I'm 265lbs 6ft. I'm definitely impressed at how stable the Heritage is, and I'm surprised at how comfortable the seat is. I rigged it for fishing and caught 50 walleye in a month. Its really worked out well."

M. Walker - Michigan

My Heritage 18 rows true and dry ...  I rowed the Soundkeepers Lighthouse to Lighthouse race , a total of 14 miles.  I took first place in the sliding seat touring boat class.    My Heritage 18 received more attention than any other boat and many rowers and spectators were interested in knowing about the boat and where it was made.
I rarely row my Maas Aero anymore
T. McLarty - CT

"Love our Double... We do a lot of kayaking and when we complete a long kayak trip we always seem to have sore butts and backs. Not so with this. After a couple hours rowing we may have sore quads and arm muscles - and that's what we're after -- our muscles to be tired instead of our bodies."

B. Richardson - Oregon

"I wish all of my sales people would spend as much time as your staff has in trying to help me with a boat."

B. Wachs

"I have always been attracted to classics, just never thought I would get exercise with one."

Craig Sutherland - New Hampshire

"I appreciate all the effort the team at Little River put into providing me a first quality boat, answering all my questions and providing me the information or advice that I needed. If the opportunity arises, I will enthusiastically recommend Little River."

Paul Abbott, Jr - New Mexico

"Hello to all - "I love my Heritage 15...."

Frank - Port Charlotte

"I received my Heritage 15 this weekend. Skip Gundlach was very helpful in instructing me on the boat and rowing techniques."

Jon - Connecticut

"Web site is amazing, your customer service is flawless."

Last year, we bought a Heritage 12 Yacht tender from you to take with us on [our] motor yacht.  We would just like to share with you that we enjoy the Heritage 12 very much, it handles perfectly, especially in choppy conditions. It's a real Yacht Tender!
